PyGTK wrapper for diacanvas?

Pythons:

Diacanvas is the widget version of "dia", the Gnome Diagram Editor.

I'm currently wrapping it in PyGTK-style Python, so we can drive it from a 
high level language here.

If anyone has already done this, or wants to help do this, please tell me 
so we can synchronize efforts.
