Holy crap! I can't believe Python parses that correctly -- for some form of
correctly, anyway, because I wouldn't know what it does without trying, and
that still doesn't say much about what the writer wanted :-) Still, great
parsers notwithstanding, I'd like to second Alex's idea of deprecating `` --
with appropriate warnings, of course.
