Spline tool Box in Python?

Hi,
  I am trying to fit a spline to a set of points. I am looking out for a
tool-box, similar to Matlab's Spline-Tool box. Does anybody have any idea.
  I came to know about a module 'Screens.py', on the web, but it doesn't
give me any pointer to the
module. http://lithos.gat.com/~osborne/pythondoc/data.html

Could someone help me out in finding a tool-box which would help me in
fitting splines?
