Arguments to dictionary factory function?

I just wondered... Any chance that the type factory
"dictionary" will accept an argument in the future,
for instance a list of tuples like dict.items() would
return?

Actually... It _does_ accept any kind of argument
currently as well - it just always returns an empty
dictionary (and my thought was that one should be
constructed from the argument :)
