I'm guessing Parrot the GUI builder took its name from Monty Python's
"Parrot Sketch", though the software's documentation doesn't seem to
indicate the origin of the name. The "Parrot Sketch" is known to be
the source at a later date for the name of the Parrot language (the
spoof hybrid of Python and Perl that is the subject of the
use.perl.org article), but I suspect without awareness of the
similarly named GUI builder.
