In fact a second reading of the PEP makes it clear that the incompatibility
issue *shouldn't* be a problem, so there may not be a reason to worry about
this. Just the same I'm surprised it's come tot he top of the priority
list -- or was it simply one of those "I can do this in ten minutes so I'll
ge it off the list" tasks? I admit to checking that the date "April 1"
didn't appear anywhere in the text :-)
