Problem with Python 2.0 demo

Dear Sirs,

I had a problem compiling the example from the Python 2.0 source package 
\demo\embed\demo.c (linking it to python20.lib) from the binary distribution 
of Python.

I get the following:

[Linker Error] Unresolved external '_Py_InitModule4TraceRefs' referenced from 
DEMO.OBJ

What could be the reason and a possible solution? I have not modified the 
source code of the demo or Python.
