(Win2k) Need some hand-holding to build (special) python21.lib

Hi,

I need to build a version of python21.lib using VC6 which:
(1) is a static library (no dlls needed), (2) doesn't require
the dll version of the C runtime library.

Has this been done?  If so, where can I find out the correct
spell that I need to cast.
