I wasn't aware of that, but it doesn't matter anyway as what I wanted
was the ability to plug in a pure Python readline module.  I had to
use a C extension to actually do the "plugging in" because that 
functionality is inexplicably missing from Python.

The _rlsetup.pyd module is quite small and has no non-Python 
dependencies.
