There is a port underway of arm-linux to the Series5/5mx that looks quite 
advanced, although still not for the faint of heart :)

OTOH, there are *three* separate ports of Python itself (1.5.x AFAIK) for 
the EPOC OS (Series5/5mx/7/Netbook/Revo/etc). One has a GUI front-end 
similar to other Psion apps, the other two are console-mode apps.
