Topmind still thinks tuples are a waste:

Did my last comment not make it out or something?  You can use tuples
as keys in a dictionary.  You can't use lists or dictionaries.  If
you take tuples away my life will stop working, unless you want to
make dictionaries keyable by lists or dictionaries.  If you are so
high-powered convinced that python needs to have only 2 data collection
types, why don't you throw away the lists?!  I think that is a foul idea
as well, but better than getting rid of the tuples.
