PHP feelings?

Pierre,

Q. 1: what kind of database? if speed and cost are your major
constraints you should certainly look at Zope: i personally think
Zope is a great tool for connecting to RDBMSs

Q. 2: don't know much about PHP, but if you already know python why
would you want to use PHP to do something that python/Zope or just
python (e.g. http://webware.sourceforge.net/) can do perfectly well
(if not better ;-)?

Q. 3: judging from what little you've said you want to do, Zope
certainly does it and IMHO does it very well. if you're building web
apps, i can't really think of anything you might want to do that you
couldn't do in Zope!

another consideration: the general Zope mailing list is very helpful!

cheers,

Garry
