Colored console on Windows

I wrote a module, WConio, which does exactly what you are wanting.
If you plan to be working at the Windows console very much, you
may also want my Alternative Readline module.  You can get both

/F has a Console module over at effbot.org but I was never able
to get it working properly on my Win98 system.
