egenix-mx-package error : copy_reg is not intended for use with classes

Hi,

I assume that your primary goal is a working PostgreSQL interface for
Python.
If you are not fixed to pgdb for any reason, you might want to try psycopg
instead.
It compiles out of the box, though requiring mxDateTime as well, and works
without any problems for me.
It seems to be pretty stable and fast, at least I had no problems yet.
