Until I saw Brian E's message in the "tkinter - tkFileDialog - how to get dir instead of fil " thread I hadn't heard of the Tk life preserver docs. I've since found them at: http://www.python.org/doc/life-preserver/ Where should I have found them? Shouldn't they be linked from the main www.python.org/doc/ page? -- Graham
