Python side of what?

I actually fell victim to the same confusion that, it seems, has caught
you. Namely the fact that the mock-language propose this past April
happens to have used the same name as the code name for the Perl 6
internals.

In a section about half-way down the page:
   "Patches should be sent to the perl6-internals mailing list..."

OTOH, one apparent idea for Perl's Parrot is to make it a common base
with multiple interface languages (such as Python), along the same lines
as .NET, but better (because it's not Microsoft) and worse (because it's
Perl-centric.
