This is, IMHO, irrelevant. Microsoft business partly builds on the ability
to pursuade users to upgrade to their newer software by deliberately
leaving problems in the old software. This was the case with Y2K
"problems", with deliberate slowing down applications, etc.

So, I do not believe MS products will ever be of quality. It will be
another firm, if that happens.
