Hi!

This is unrelated to Python programming.

I get som unsolicited emails sometimes and I often wonder what's in a
spammers mind?

Like this guy who used to send me everyday for two weeks an add for using
some Credit Card service of his? Lately he cooled down to once a
week. Does he really think I'm ever going to use his service when he
promotes it like that?

Then they hide behind all these "random generated - jump on the
keyboard - bunch of letters" usernames, they fake the header of the
e-mails, they provide no way for one to remove oneself from the list or to
contact them. Now that is indeed manly and demands respect! But then
again, they do not seem to care for either privacy or respect.

And maybe the most useless of them all are the ones sending
porn-spam. Really, porn is everywhere on the internett, who needs their
adds? Besides, sex is such an outworn issue. Event though this is not
relevant to this discussion, who has anything to offer which has not
been out there for ages? "Let me show you how someone
put his dick in some hole." Preferably for a few bucks of course. Neither
the ones puting their dicks nor the ones providing the holes care in the
least for your or my sex-life, all they want is a valid credit card
number.

Who knows, maybe with the evolution of the internett protocols it might be
possible in the future for users to guard themselves against unsolicited
e-mail.

Some of these comments may not apply to the intentions of Ladislav, the
originator of this thread. I have no idea what kind of unsolicited e-mail
he wants to send.

Best regards,
Catalin
