After medicine, software development appears doomed to finance 
arbitrarily large populations of lawyers, at least under US law. Maybe 
this means physicians and software engineers should ally against that 
obfuscation industry. After all, due process should be a pathology 
correcting activity, and physicians and software engineers are both 
chiefly diagnostic-and-cure professionals.
