In my other home newsgroup, there are people named piranha, Piglet,
songbird, and Pyanfar. It's a little more unusual in technical
newsgroups, but pseudonyms are a fine netnews tradition that I'll fight
to keep, particularly given how frequently I've had trouble even after
changing my name legally. It wasn't so many years ago that someone tried
to keep me from voting in a Usenet CFV despite my years of activity on
the Net.

Judge by a person's writing, not zir name. I mean, heck, I'd stack Kent
Paul Dolan against any of the modern trolls -- using a real name doesn't
mean diddlysquat.

You're wrong about that. My full legal name is "Aahz", and I'm in the
USA. Of course, there's also the Gandhi quote.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I'll post a disagreement
any time you mention it.
