copy the interpreter (PREFIX/bin/python) and the support library
(PREFIX/lib/pythonX.Y/...) where PREFIX is the installation root and
X.Y is the version number. e.g.
/usr/local/bin/python
/usr/local/lib/python2.1/...
if you cannot remember where you installed it, you can always ask
the interpreter itself:
$ python
>>> import sys
>>> sys.prefix
'/usr/local'
>>> sys.version[:3]
'2.1'
</F>
