PrettyPrint not outputing anything !!

calling pprint.PrettyPrinter(sXml, str) with a string con-
taining XML data and a stream object gives a ValueError
calling xml.dom.ext.PrettyPrint(sXml, str) with the same
arguments doesn't do anything.
