The fact of the matter seems to be that most programmers are male. Whether or not it's nature or nuture, them's the facts ma'am. I wonder if so few women are programmers because so many programmers are gay or there are so few women in programming because so many of the programmers are gay :-> pouring-gas-on-the-firely-yours...
