Cannot invoke IDLE

My thanks to both Lee Harr and Juan M. Casillas for your responses to my
anguished cry for help. My fix was that I uninstalled the latest
python2.2.2 after having installed the python2.2.1. For some reason
(??), the earlier release was able to find the relevant files and I was
able to invoke IDLe just simply by typing 'idle' (sans quotes). Not sure
of the mechanics, but this is how it happened.
