a good free host for CGI with python?

I have a sourceforge account but I can not even find the docs that say
where to put my CGI scripts.  Does anybody else here know how to do
that?
like:

Put your cgi script in
~/cgi-bin

call it via:
http://projectname.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/myscriptname.cgi

Hm, maybe I should give that a try.

And then I noticed that sourceforge only has python 1.5.2 (did python
from commandline via ssh).  Is this true?

Or alternatively: can somebody recommend another free host where i can
run CGI scripts?  With a good help system explaining where to put CGI
scripts and how to call them :-)
