Errm, I've used plenty of worse programming languages.  Most of
the sort of embedded command languages which jest grew.  By
comparison, BASIC is clean and elegant.

But then again, I spent almost a decade programming in BASIC in
its various incarnations, so my brain's probably rotted away :)
