Python Gnutella Library

I am currently working on dissertation project that makes use of
Peer-to-Peer networks.  I have been trying to find a Gnutella Library
for Python but without success.  There are many Gnutella libraries for
Java (JTella) and other languages, but so far I have yet to find one
for Python.

I would be grateful for any help you could provide me.
