Correct. A goodly number of moderated newsgroups use "verified opt-
in" moderation where after your first post or two, the moderators
put you on the automatic approval list. This magically manages to
exclude virtually all commercial spams, get rich quick schemes, and
desperate women in St. Petersburg looking for an American husband.
On these same groups, if you are a regular poster, you have to be quite
a bad boy to get censured.
