Can't get compile.py (building win32 Python extensions)

The "Extending and Embedding the Python Interpreter" manual in
Building C and C++ Extensions on Windows / A Cookbook Approach
says:

Get David Ascher's compile.py script from
http://starship.python.net/crew/da/compile/.

I can' t get it David Asher's pages (http://starship.python.net:9673/crew/da
or http://starship.python.net/crew/da/index_old.html)!

Has anyone got the script around?
