Yes.  Execute "SHOW VARIABLES" and you'll get a list of name-value pairs for
all of MySQL's current variables.  The data directory is "datadir".

For example, to print them:

	self.dbh.execute("SHOW VARIABLES")
	print self.dbh.fetchall()
