py2exe 4 linux?

Try Gordon McMillan's Installer at http://www.mcmillan-inc.com/install1.html

This works incredibly well and is cross-platform to boot!  I've used it to
make standalones of quite an extensive application that makes use of
wxPython and VTK and was amazed at how little I had to do to get it working
perfectly.
