Most of the actual API documentation is written for the C++ implementation
underneath, wxWindows, which is very thorough.  Here's a good reference
for a number of tutorials:   http://www.wxwindows.org/docs2.htm

BTW, I was able to go to http://www.wxpython.org just fine just now.
