[ANN] PEP 279 -- Updated to version 1.8

PEP 279 has been reposted with the following changes:

-- Fixed indentation error in the logger() function.
-- Changed variable names in indexed() to start and stop.
-- Generator parameter passing proposal moved to a separate PEP (not yet
posted)
-- Added comments and voting results from the community.
-- Revised the author response to comments

Note, this PEP has been submitted to GvR for pronouncement.
