Just like one way to turn off the light in the bedroom is to set off a
hydrogen bomb over the municipal power plant, yes.  Massive
thermonuclear fusion has its correct uses, but turning off the light
in the bedroom is not one of them, because it also has its drawbacks.
Nor is converting strings to integers a good use of 'eval'.
