wrapper for galil motion controller libraries

I didn't find anything in google usenet search, but ...

has anyone attempted to wrap the linux or windows libraries for the Galil 
motion controllers?

i was planning on SWIG'ing in the libraries from DMCWIN32 and  
LinuxPCI_Ker2.4. just curious if either anyone has worked on this, or 
anyone is interested in using the wrappers.
