Sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought your tk suggestion was for all 
platforms. My bad.

Thanks a lot for the tk code suggestion. I'll save it for future reference, 
but unfortunately right now I just don't have the time to test/implement it 
in the rest of my framework. I see Windows about once a month and right now 
'real work' is the priority. But I appreciate the code, thanks again.
