to PYQT gurus

I have written an GUI app using Pyton, Tkinter and PWM.
It is mainly an editor for POV, with color syntax highlighting and many 
nice features. I can be found at :

My question is simple : I am learning to use QT. Do you think it is 
feasible to transfer my from Tkinter to PYQT.
I would like to benefit from QT's quickness.
