Installation

I am happy to inform all of you that everything is fixed. As I
suspected, previous installs were creating some kind of conflict. The
regular interpreter won't work anyway, but ActivePython works fine.

BTW, about the regular version. It used to work at one time, then just
stopped. The hard drive crackles, but nothing happens, not even a
message. I hoped upgrading to Win2K would help, but it didn't. Has this
happened to anyone before?
