Sorry if this is a repeat post, but I'm wondering- is there a way to configure the python 1.5 source to compile a shared object (libpython1.5.so) file under Redhat Linux? The configure/make files have variables that contain the correct directives (-fpic, -shared), but it's not at all clear how to enable their use. Thanks. Tom
