MLab and numarray

It probably will, once numarray gets closer to production status. Right now 
the focus for numarray is the core architecture. Keep in mind however that 
MLab is basically a wrapper library for matching the Numeric names with what 
Matlab users are accostumed to. There's very little 'real' functionality in 
MLab. So if you'd rather use numarray you can go ahead, you'll just have to 
look up the name equivalences yourself.
