is there a reasonable way to determine whether makepy has been run on a particular object, and if not, run it? there seem to be some discussions about this from a few years back (including a note that makepy should be replaced), but i'm not finding anything more recent. any ideas? even a not-so-reasonable way would be fine. -doug
