ssh on solaris 8

I'm currently trying to make a daemon that will monitor a process on one
of the servers we have.  If the process hoses up a ssh connection to a
remote server has to be astablished and a script run.  The connection
has to be secure and it has to be done in python.

I've tried using the pyssh module, but could not get it to work on our
system.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm relitively new to python as a language so code would be
appreciated as well.
