Yes, there's a detailed NEWS file in the package, which describes all
the changes in the history of the package.  There's lots of new stuff
and a few deprecated APIs, so it would be worthwhile reading the NEWS
file over (I'm not posting it here due to size).

The documentation is still lagging, but I intend to update that during
the Python 2.3 alpha cycle.
