Pyrex 0.4.4 is now available:

    http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/~greg/python/Pyrex/

New Features:

  * Tracebacks: Pyrex modules now produce tracebacks that
show you where the error occurred in the Pyrex code.

  * ",".join(x) and the like now work.

  * Float literals don't require digits on both sides of
    the point.

There are also some other minor improvements and bug
fixes. See the CHANGES file in the distribution for a
full list.

What is Pyrex?
--------------

Pyrex is a new language for writing Python extension modules.
It lets you freely mix operations on Python and C data, with
all Python reference counting and error checking handled
automatically.
