I would think your editor beeping (or whatever your particular editor
does when you try to scroll past the end of file) would do the trick.
But, it could be worse. We had a guy here who insisted on putting stuff
like this at the ends of his files:

# #
# ############################### #
# # End of <filename> # #
# ############################### #
# #
#####################################
