IDLE question

Hi all,

My apologies if this is not the correct forum for IDLE
questions.

I'm running IDLE on Win2K.  Is it possible to change
the default subdir on a file open (menu
File->Open...)?

It currently points to the install subdir for Python. 
However, I'm working in another subdir which requires
that I change to it every time I open another file.

Better yet, can IDLE be configured to point to the
last-opened subdir?
