Better idea to change the above to c:\Python23\Libs\python23.lib and see how
that works! Mixing distros is not a good idea!

FWIW, I have (Wyse installer installed) Python 2.3.1 on my Windows 2000 box
and have no PYTHON_LIB variable in my environment.
