Have you heard of XSL and XSL-FO?

              PDF, PS, HTML, WML, etc.

Currently, the only free XSL-FO Processor that produces PDF is Apache's
FOP.  It should also do PS.

Well, if this is all Chinese to you, than Google is your friend (or
www.xml.com).
