relative newbie looking for a python ide recommendation

Answering my own question, I'm going to start with boa first and
see how that works. I know. It wasn't on the original list.

I'd still like to hear any opinions about ActiveState's VisualPython.
I'll try the 21 day trial, but I'd also like to hear some opinions. At
$300, its too expensive to treat as a "discretionary expense."
