float / double support in Python?

I had to send my primary machine in for repairs, so I'm working this
week from my old NT box.  It has OE 6.00 on it, and there appear
to be rules for blocking based on various criteria.

I also used OE some years ago as my primary interface, and I do
know that older versions did not have that feature.  So I suggest that
your viewpoint my now be out of date.
